Do you come by plane?
The Regional
Airport (Ronchi dei Legionari) is 41 km far from the city.
There are regular daily flights to the major Italian cities (Milan,
Rome), as well as to Paris, Munich, London, etc. Public Transport
company APT operates bus and coach shuttle services connecting
the airport to the main cities in the region:
UDINE: Coach 51 (also non-stop via
motorway); GORIZIA: Coach 1 and other services in
connection with Coach 51; MONFALCONE: Bus 10; TRIESTE: Coach
51.

only in Italian).
Tickets can be purchased at city bus/coach station or at the
airport:
- in the Arrivals Hall, with an automatic machine for self
ticketing
- in the Departures Hall, at the Tourist Information desk (Turismo
FVG)

Do you come by train?
Udine is well connected with other Italian cities (Milan, Rome,
Venice, etc) and also with European cities (i.e. Vienna). The
railway station is in the city centre. Opposite the railway station
you can easily take a bus. Bus tickets can be purchased inside
the railway station at the tobacconist's shops. For more

Do you come by car?
A4/A23 motorway goes through Udine. If you come from North
(Austria), take the "Udine nord" exit. If you come from all the
other directions (Venice and Trieste), take the "Udine sud"
exit.
