The Lions Club International is a humanitarian
association founded in 1917, consisting in many clubs all
over the world.
The purpose of the Association is to invite volunteers to serve
their communities, meet humanitarian needs and promote
peace and international understanding. The Clubs promote
high ethical standards in professions, public work and
private behaviour.
The Lions Club Trieste Miramar was founded in 1992 and is one of
the Clubs in Trieste.
The Lions Club Trieste Miramar has always had a special
interest issues concerning children. For example in 2009
the club has realized services concerning the little
kid's learning disabilities.
Empower volunteers to serve their communities, meet humanitarian
needs, encourage peace and promote international understanding
through Lions clubs!
